For a long time the Indian Muslim community was longing to establish a complete Islamic educational Institute to produce sincere propagators and outstanding scholars, who have the best capacity to lead the 150 million people of the Muslim community in India. Now by the grace of Almighty God, this much awaited dream has been achieved and the Islamic University has been formed in Kerala, India, and the world famous Islamic scholar Yusuf Qaradawi has inaugurated the opening ceremony of this University. Recently The University comprises some faculties including faculty of Usooludheen , Faculty of Shari’a, Faculty of Qur’an, Faculty of Da’wa, Institute of Imams & Khatheebs, Institute of Islamic Economic studies, Centre for Research & Islamic studies and Centre for Information technology. More over it is looking forward to establishing some other faculties and institutes in near future. Offering this few words that shows a brief picture of Al Jamia Al Islamiya, its past and present, its Faculties and centers, its plans, projects and aspirations, we expect the entire Muslim fraternity from all over the world to extend their educational, intellectual and material as well as spiritual co-operation in this very task. We pray God to pour blessing upon us and make the best at every step and accept the good- deeds from us. For He hears and ready to answer.
